Probably the most high-profile sport on the Island, rugby is the only sport that offers Island residents the chance to be professional sportsmen.
With Jersey Rugby Football Club competing in the English Championship - the second tier of English rugby - the Island more than punches above its weight. Now a fully professional outfit, the JRFC first team attracts around 2,000 fans to every home game at St Peter.
Also boasting a second XV and a women's side who both contest national competitions - and one of the largest rugby academies in the county - there is plenty on offer for elite players.
The Jersey Rugby Association also runs a domestic league, which is contested between five different club sides.
Jersey Touch run a vibrant summer league and travel to represent the Island at international tournaments.
